Bennett at 5 months

Another month flies by… you are 5 months old.

By the time you hit 5 months, you have officially lived in 3 houses.

You have quite the personality on you. 

 

You love Hunter and now officially share a room with him.  You also love Ashton and Shep but you also get upset with them often… especially when they get in your face.

 

You started solids the week before you hit 5 months and are doing really good with them.. maybe the best of the 4.  You have sampled avocado, applesauce, and peas mixed with rice cereal.  You love to play with your sippy cup though you don’t get much out of it.  Anytime I  have a cup of water while I am holding you, you lunge toward and make a grunt and then proceed to drool all in it.  It is the kind of adorable only a mom would love.

I hate to admit it, but you still sleep in your bouncy seat at night.  Four out of seven nights you will sleep from 8:30 to around 5:00 so why mess with a good thing?!?!  Napping is kind of all over the place.  You take 3 naps a day ranging from 40 minutes to 2 hours.  Lately the long naps have been getting shorter.

 

You are getting so close to sitting up by yourself which I am so excited about. 

 

You still love Shepherd’s power ranges and they occupy you in the car.  Thanks to Jodi, you have an exersaucer which you adore.

You still love bath time.  You smile a lot now and belly laugh when your brothers do funny things for you.
