More Beach Pictures

... looking back through our beach pics and here are just a few of our family.

Family Pics

Hunter's Pics

Ashton's Pics

Shepherd's Pics
He loves water. Chad took him out and they got pummeled by waves.

Shep after his waves.

Yes, he is eating his toe.

Riding some rides.
*Scary story- I turned away from Hunter to point the little kids train out to Ashton. The Farris Wheel had stopped at the very top. When I turned to look at Hunter, he had STOOD UP on the farris wheel. Um, I about had a freaking heart attack. It could have been really bad, his guardian angel was definitely looking over him!

Perfect weather. Perfect company. Great Time!

"Friends"

... at the beach with dear friends. (Liv, hope you appreciate the title of this).
We just got home from the 3rd Annual Taylor/ Smith Beach Trip and we had a great time.

Was it relaxing? Heck No.

Was it fun(ny)? Absolutely.

You may ask... "why was your beach trip not relaxing?" Let me introduce you to 5 reasons.
Luke (3.5months/ Hunter 4.5 years/ Shepherd 8months, Ashton 2.5 years, and Noah 2 years). Yes, that is 5 boys that are 4 and under. These little boys kept us on our toes but it was so much fun watching them get to know each other again after not seeing each other in a year.

While inside the house, there were numerous disagreements between the little men but while outside... they all got along great. Here are some pictures.

Day 1- got in the water a bit but really enjoyed the sand.

Day 2- No time for sand. The boys were all about the water.

Noah getting knocked by a mini wave.

Love this picture! Ashton looks like he is dancing and they all look so happy.

Also adorable pic, just wish I had Ashton's face in it.

*** I love this picture. This describes many of the "disagreements" in the house. Here Noah is pushing Ashton and Ashton is trying to run away! My boys couldnt get it in their head that giving Noah one big push back would probably solve the problem, instead, my kids just tattled.

Walking to the boardwalk.

Taylor family, Thank you so much for including us again.
Olivia, you continue to be an amazing friend and I love you to death! Hope to see you guys sometime during football season.

I will post our family pics from the beach in the next couple days... so check back :)

8 months old

... trying to save money by taking Shep's 8 month baby pics. In the past, I have taken my kids for pictures at 4, 8, and 12 months so as Shepherd hit the big 8 months yesterday, it was time. However, this time, we are living on a pretty tight budget plus I felt semi-confident that I could take something I would like.

Here they are...

The last two are the same picture, just different edits. Is the bottom one too bright? Yes, I am talking/ typing to myself, but that is what happens to you when you spend all day with a 4 year old, 2 year old, and 8 month old :)

Honestly, I think they look pretty good. My concern is that they will not match Hunter and Ashton's pictures since we had theirs professionally taken.

Leave feedback or recommendations especially if something looks off (ie, too bright, blurry, color off.) I am quite the newbie when it comes to editing.

Happy Cow Appreciation Day!!!

... addicted to Chick-fil-A for what seems like forever.

Somehow, I forgot that today was cow appreciation at CFA. The boys and I had to run by CFA around 11 a.m. for me to order a tray of nuggets for our Sunday School breakfast on Sunday. When we drove up, I remembered about one of my favorite holidays!!!

We all shared one combo and decided that we would come back for dinner in our cow attire.

Hunter's had a list that was already printed on the shirt of ways to be healthy and I added one more line of "#8- Eat Chicken."
Ashton's had "Eat Chicken and Ice Dream."
Shepherd had a onesie that said "My mommy is a cow" on the front and on the back said "Milk Please"

My t-shirt said "Mama Cow" on the front and "Chicken" written vertically on the back.

So we got 4 meals that normally would have cost $19.40 for NOTHING!!!!

And, if you missed it, I am so sorry but Happy Cow Day anyway!

First tooth

... dealing with a teething baby and didn't even know it. Heard a scratching sounds while he was drinking out of his sippy cup and stuck and my finger in his mouth and felt his first tooth.

I had just told a friend of mine that he was not teething yet which wasnt a surprise since Hunter was 7 months and Ashton almost 10 months before they got their first tooth.

Here is a picture of Shepherd eating his first chocolate chip cookie (it was only a 1/3 of one but he loved it... obviously). He hardly ever smiles this big, but if you look really close, you can see his new chomper (bottom right).

Happy 4th of July

... so thankful for the men and women who have served and are serving our country.

As the daughter whose dad was in the Air Force, whose grandfathers were in the Navy and Army; my blood bleeds white, red, and blue. I know first hand the sacrifices that are made by not only the troops but the families and I am so appreciative to those men and women.

Thank you protecting our freedom and for being willing to pay the ultimate sacrifice.

Here are just a few pics of the boys sporting their USA shirts!

Shep looks like he is about to fight.

Ashton watering Queenie's flowers

Hunter taking his turn... they did a really good job. I didnt even have to go back over them.
