Beach Vacay Part 1

Saturday (the 12th) was the boy's last t-ball/ baseball game of the season as well as the day we trekked to the beach!

Then off  to the beach.  This post will cover Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.  You know me and pictures.  It would be TOTALLY overwhelming if I tried to post a whole week's worth of pics in one post.

We went to Isle of Palms.  Mom and dad rented a house right on the beach (though the house was not the most awesome house- the location and the fact it actually had a yard made it a good fit for us).  My brother (who lives in CA) and his family were able to come as well as my youngest brother who just graduated from Clemson.

Sunday - Mother's Day

The guys got all secretive and surprised with lunch and tea with flowers and hand made crafts from the kids.  Chad and the boys made me cards and got me 2 books.  It was such a sweet mother's day

Ashton broke out in hives are first night at the beach.  By Wednesday they were finally gone.

Ashton loving the sand for the little bit of time he was able to stay out before his hives came back

So we decided to fly a kite (by we, I mean ANNA) right beside our house.  A not so smooth handout between Owen and Shep led to the kite ended up on top of the neighboring house.  oops!
