Many thanks to Zach and Anna for letting us come up and use their
visitor’s passes at Biltmore. Chad had never been and I had not been
since elementary school (and therefore, don’t remember it).

Our group shot... sorry I should have cropped it a bit, but time is not on my side anymore. |

Love these guys! |

It
is an amazing place! To me, the grounds were just as impressive as the
house. And we didn’t even see it when it is full bloom.

Enjoying the grounds |
Zach
and his family have an annual membership and with that they get 4 adult
passes. Nolan, GrandmaDean, Chad, and me had dibbs on them this year.
The kids all get in free. Anna, Esme, and Eva didn’t go because Eva was
running a fever. However, Anna, had dinner ready for us when we got
home. Now, I know men feel when they walk in the door after a long day!
Hahaha! Just Kidding, kind of. It was a yummy dinner where Esme got
mad at me and cried because I wouldn’t move for her mom to sit next to
her. I played the part of the mean aunt. That girl! She is a trip and a
half!

A gaggle of boys |
It was great day trip to visit the cousins and get a tour
of an impressive place. My kids really enjoyed it because it gave some
perspective to the book, Serafina and the Black Cloak, that we read last
fall. We are anxious to read the sequel. Serafina and the Twisted
Staff!

The sun ruined my funny group shot! |
Thanks again Junior A’s for a great Saturday.
